Finding yourself in a tough spot in your relationship happens to even the strongest of couples- it's about how you choose to navigate through it and show up for one another that counts. I have treated couples dealing with communication issues with being on separate pages and wanting to explore closeness again, or something more urgent such as the discovery of infidelity or a hidden addiction. I am here as your relationship advocate- I take the stance of being on the side of the relationship, not the side of one partner/spouse or the other.

I started using the Gottman Method in 2016, and have since completed Level 3 of the training. I use this model as my approach to couples counseling. Otherwise, I am a direct, yet warm therapist that isn't afraid to speak up around issues that arise in the room and help guide you in a different direction. If you believe that you could benefit from someone who can help you make sense of your patterns, teach you to use your voice in the relationship, and learn to ask for your wants and needs, please reach out. Even if this is your first time in therapy, or couples counseling, I encourage you to take the step. I believe in making the therapy space feel comfortable and open even if we are talking about harder topics in your relationship or marriage.

I see couples of all ages, races, back grounds. I welcome those in the LGBTQ+ community to my practice. I do not take a religious stance in therapy but welcome all religious backgrounds into my practice.
