About
Suzanne is a tertiary educated counsellor with post graduate training and an extensive 26 years’ experience in relationship, intimacy, sexuality and personal wellbeing counselling. She provides a professional and confidential service to clients wanting to explore issues of concern regarding sex, sexuality and relationships.
Clients are encouraged to learn about, and develop the capacity to shift perspectives, and to appreciate the importance of our relationships – how it impacts our development, sense of self, ability to deal with others, and mental health. That understanding their partner’s brain and attachment style can help them defuse conflict and build a secure relationship. Also trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy Level 3, Suzanne utilises the Gottman Connect to identify the relationships strengths and challenges, concerns and recommendations; and uses the learning resources of The Gottman Relationship Builder.
Also is a Gottman Seven Principles Leader, taking small groups of couples through Dr. Gottman’s revised, groundbreaking book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work
