About
I believe human relationships are as important and necessary as food and water. They sustain us and nurture growth and none so much as those within a committed relationship or nuclear family group. I enjoy helping people find new insights and ways of relating that work for them so they are able to find fulfillment and satisfaction.
I focus on being authentic with clients and pursuit of values through action and flexible thinking.
In a committed relationship, shared values and acceptance of the humanity of each partner (with all of the scars and scratches) is a wonderful step toward developing understanding and deepening the trust and caring that make a relationship worth the investment of time and resources.
I love the Gottman couple techniques as they provide a straight-forward and accessible means for applying the principles that research shows deepen bonds and help each couple find the relationship that works for them. Every relationships is unique and research-based skills allow a loose enough framework for most relationships to develop what works for you!
