BCBS PPO, Aetna
I bring 20+ years of clinical experience of working with couples, families, and individuals with a wide range of issues from diverse backgrounds. My specialty is in couples work. I believe for those in a committed relationship it is the most significant relationship in their life and that there is no greater pain than feeling disconnected from each other.
That is why I believe that the research based Gottman approach is by far the most effective in helping couples heal from past hurts and in learning how to love again.
Many couples find that over the years they lose track of the connection and intimacy they once shared. With the Gottman approach, they learn to restore the friendship, develop a renewed sense of fondness and appreciation towards each other, manage conflict, create meaningful ways to connect and support each others goals and dreams.
With my background in family therapy, I also enjoy working with individuals and families who present with issues relating to trauma, grief and loss, Obessesive Compulsive Disorder, adult ADD, anxiety, depression, job/career change, step families/ remarriage, and with young adults experiencing anxiety relating to life transitions.
I believe all individuals are the experts of their life. Within are the answers to many of the problems faced. My therapeutic approach is to come along side you and help clear the obstacles that are preventing real growth and change.
Clients describe me as empathetic genuine, insightful, and direct. I offer flexible hours. Feel free to call or email me with any with any questions you may have.
Affairs, trauma/PTSD, and faith based approach.
