About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho who specializes in trauma, PTSD, traumatic grief, marriage, couples, and family therapy. I enjoy working with individual adults and teens, couples, and the entire family unit. I have an understanding of and connection to active-duty military and veterans. When helping people, I believe it is valuable to work with people to produce change and find solutions. Understanding personal or family problems can be found with exploration and insight. Interacting and working with people from various cultures and walks of life has given me a deeper understanding of the human mind, body, and spirit.
I have a Master of Science in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boise State University. I am a National Certified Counselor® and Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. My approach to counseling is through the lens of Alfred Adler’s Individual Psychology and Solution-Oriented Possibility Therapy and the Family Systems approach.
