About

As one of the first Gottman couple therapists to be certified in California, I have been speccializing in couple therapy for twenty-two years. I have co-led Gottman workshops and lectured exstensively to both professional audiences and the general public. My counseling approach integrates Dr. Gottman's research with my advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, which is another powerful and evidenced-based method developed by Susan Johnson. I work with couples in all phases of their relationships and specialize in creating a safe and trusting environment to assist in resolving unspoken emotional blocks to their communication. I am especially adept at helping men express themselves emotionally to their partners in a healthy way, and at encouraging them to create positive relationship habits which can completely change and enhance their connection with their spouse.
