Every relationship has the potential to deepen and improve. Many relationships will at some point go through crisis and major hardship. Whether or not things are currently going well, there's an opportunity right now to learn better ways to communicate, to deepen a sense of connection, and to build a more resilient relationship.

As your relationship therapist, I'll be your expert coach supporting that process.

In our work together, we’ll form a collaborative team while we clarify your goals for therapy, and you’ll learn research-backed skills and concepts, and identify ways to put therapy into practice. Part of my role will be to keep us all accountable so that session by session we’re staying on track and working towards positive, real-world change.

Mindfulness will likely be incorporated into our work. A huge benefit of mindfulness is learning to respond rather than react, which in turn helps us get more of our own needs met. Your partner will likely appreciate how it helps you be a better listener too!

Although I enjoy working with many types of clients, there are a few I'm particularly interested in supporting.
* If you or your partner has a history of trauma that seems to be affecting the relationship, we can work on that together.
* If you're part of a modern family, e.g. you're co-parenting or you're consensually non-monogamous, and you want help creating something custom that works for you, we can draw on tools and frameworks to support that work.
* If ADD/ADHD is a stressor in the relationship, we can find better ways to discuss and work on that in therapy.
