About
Life transitions can strain even strong relationships.
When kids leave home, careers shift, or retirement changes your daily rhythm, it’s common to feel more like roommates than partners. You may still care deeply about each other, but the connection feels thinner. Conversations turn tense or distant. You’re not sure how to get back to solid ground.
I help couples reconnect and feel steady again.
Married for 34 years and a parent for 21, I understand how relationships evolve over time. With the right support, this stage doesn’t have to mean drifting apart—it can become a reset.
My approach is active and practical.
Using Gottman Method tools, I guide you in rebuilding closeness, improving communication, and repairing ongoing conflict. I won’t just observe; I’ll help you slow down difficult moments, understand what’s happening underneath, and practice new ways of responding. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can use right away.
If you’re ready to feel like partners again, not just housemates, I’d be glad to work with you.
