I love to help couples reconnect and find balance within their relationship. I love to advocate for each partner to feel heard and understood by one another. Through redefining communication, connection, roles and routines I believe we can create a stronger foundation for your relationship. Processing past and current events can be helpful. When you step into my room my focus is not solely on conflict, it’s also how we can recreate or build a new friendship and intimacy between partners. How can we better fulfill each other’s dreams while honoring our own? Can I move past an affair or emotional injury? How can I communicate to my partner without getting into an argument again? Why is it difficult for us to connect and find time for each other right now? I answer these and many more questions when I sit with a couple.

I believe in meeting the diverse needs of each individual and couple I work with. I pride myself on being a warm, approachable and nonjudgmental therapist in order to promote a safe and supportive therapeutic space. I believe authenticity in therapy is important for me and for you and your partner in order to build a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe empathy and compassion are fundamental in therapy while I support you and your relationship transformation in therapy. I aim to promote self-awareness in creative and unique ways in session while you explore your life experiences and challenges in session.

I believe Gottman Method reinforces my approach to therapy and the diverse needs of couples I see in therapy. Throughout my work with couples, the Gottman Method structure and tools have provided opportunities for couples to reach their relationship goals in their work with me. I am always amazed to witness how this method has helped transform certain aspects of couple's relationships and how this model can be applied to a diverse spectrum of relationships.
