About

I create moments of peace for couples who have differing personalities. I provide skills to process in session and take home to make life simpler. Most of my couples have opposite personality styles. I have couples who say they didn't feel any peace. Others say my spouse isn't hearing me. Then we work together to design skills to connect as friends, gain intimacy, develop admiration for your partner, lower conflict, design repair in safe connection and develop deeper self care and cohabitation.

Here are some frequently asked questions:
1. Do you see individuals for therapy? A: Yes! I find the most benefit in growth is knowing that we all need others. From that viewpoint, you are the main reason the future looks different from the past.

2. Where are you located?
A: Online for Ohio And Kentucky. Also, for those who want face to face sessions, I am located on the north side of Cincinnati in the offices of Liberty Center.

3. What will happen at the first session(s)? A: Building safe and comfortable connection (virtually or in person.) We spend a session as a couple, and then in solo sessions discussing life events, your marriage successes, challenges that occurred for coming to couples therapy, and goals for living a strong flexible relationship with your spouse. I will introduce Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy as the foundation for our direction.

3. What is in marathon sessions? A: A burst of therapy with clear communication for both people to understand each other and discover skills to use in daily living.

4. What is expected of me? A: You being you. And a wish to see different ways to interact, are open to sharing within a safe environment. You know growth is possible (or you desire to have me share my hope for growth.) You want to a path to experience more peace.

I believe in learning, understanding, and adjusting in the process to meet your progress goals. Let's connect! I'm open to finding what will work well for you.
