About

If you’re here, your relationship may no longer feel steady or familiar. The same conflicts may be recurring; conversations may escalate or shut down; and essential needs may no longer be met. You may disagree about finances, parenting, or the future. Trust may feel fragile. Intimacy may have faded—sometimes for years—despite effort, intelligence, and good intentions.

I work with couples at all stages of a relationship, from dating and premarital counseling to long-term partnerships navigating infidelity, midlife transitions, infertility, loss, or sustained relational strain. This is especially common among high-achieving couples who are accustomed to carrying significant responsibility and pressure. What works professionally—control, decisiveness, emotional restraint—often breaks down at home, leaving both partners feeling misunderstood, alone, or stuck.

My approach is grounded in the Gottman Method, using its evidence-based assessment to identify the specific patterns driving conflict, withdrawal, and breakdowns in trust. Depending on your goals and the needs of your relationship, the Gottman Method may be used as a stand-alone structured approach or integrated thoughtfully with attachment-based and emotionally focused methods to address not only what is happening between you, but also why these patterns persist—especially under stress. Culture, background, family expectations, and history matter deeply in how relationships function, and I work with couples from diverse cultural contexts, including those navigating cross-cultural or arranged marriage dynamics.

I also offer Certifeed Gottman Method Programs, including: The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, The Seven Principles for Singles, and Bringing Baby Home.

Sessions are focused and collaborative. The goal is measurable progress: fewer circular arguments, clearer communication, restored trust, renewed intimacy, and a relationship that feels stable, workable, and supportive again.
