About
I'm Whitney, and I help couples and individuals understand how the past may be shaping their present—so they can build the connected, value-driven relationship and life they deserve. Using the Gottman Method alongside EMDR, IFS, and somatic-focused approaches, I work with couples who feel stuck in painful cycles: the same fights on repeat, growing distance, or a sense that they've lost each other along the way.
Often, these patterns have roots that go deeper than the relationship itself. One or both partners may carry unresolved trauma that shows up as reactivity, shutdown, or difficulty feeling safe and seen—even with someone they love. Traditional talk therapy alone may not be enough, because trauma lives in the body, not just the mind. By combining Gottman's research-based tools for communication and conflict with body-based, trauma-informed work, I help couples not only repair and reconnect, but understand why old patterns keep surfacing—and build lasting change together.
