Zoe Rose Hicks is a seasoned Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of experience providing evidence-based, individualized therapy to couples. Her approach integrates Gottman Method. I am always working to maintain the frame of the Gottman Method while integrating Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help partners improve communication, navigate conflict, and build emotional intimacy. She specializes in working with couples at various stages—whether they are dating, engaged, married, or navigating separation or divorce.

As a certified divorce mediator, Zoe offers structured support for couples considering or undergoing separation, helping them reach amicable resolutions while prioritizing emotional well-being. Her background includes work with LGBTQIA couples at The Door in SoHo, underscoring her commitment to inclusive and affirming care.

Zoe is also a member of the Women’s Mental Health Consortium of Weill Cornell Medical, reflecting her expertise in relationship dynamics impacted by mental health challenges. Since 2011, she has run a successful private therapy practice, Zoe Rose Hicks, and is now building a hybrid private group practice to expand access to high-quality couples therapy.

With licenses in New York and New Jersey, Zoe offers compassionate, research-based guidance tailored to each couple’s unique needs, fostering healthier relationships through deeper understanding, trust, and connection.
