"An unexamined life is not worth living." This quote by Socrates encapsulates my philosophy. I believe that living vibrantly is a privilege everyone should have, and that self-discovery is crucial to achieving it.
My husband, Nelson Carvalho,and I have been formally undertaking couples counselling together, for the past six years. Nelson is also a coach with several hours of training at Landmark Education for personal mastery. He is due to complete his Masters in Psychology by July 2026. We both believe that healthy relationships are vital for one's emotional and physical well-being.
Our process focuses on empowering individuals to look inward and uncover patterns of behaviour that are not serving them anymore and discover (or rediscover)a life of purpose and fulfilment. We integrate our understanding of coaching, counselling and therapy with the Gottman Couples Therapy Method. Additionally, our personal experiences with previous failed marriages, along with the techniques we've developed to cultivate our current successful relationship, provide practical insights that we integrate into our therapy sessions. Our approach is most effective when both partners are committed to improving their relationship. However, we also offer individual therapy aimed at helping each person balance self-preservation with a constructive contribution to the relationship.
With over 1,200 hours of counseling, coaching and facilitation experience, I have positively impacted individuals in organizations such as TCS, Kellanova, Bajaj Finance, Wipro, Tata Motors, HP, Pepsi, and World Wildlife India, among others. Furthermore, I have 30 years of experience in business and consulting, working with companies like the Times of India, Schindler, iDiscoveri, Mahindra Special Services Group, and Canon India.
