As a therapist with 27 years of experience in the mental health field, I have been inspired by the diversity of experiences and strengths of those I have had the pleasure to work with. We all go through challenging times in our lives in which we find ourselves discouraged. Exploring our situation offers the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to live life beautifully. Therapy does not change people; it enables them to discover their own resources so they can make the changes themselves. Together, we will focus on a clear purpose, taking small consistent steps toward change, and managing obstacles along the way.
As a clinician working with couples, the most common complaints heard are “We are so disconnected,” and” we just don’t communicate.” In couples therapy, we will work to strengthen each fundamental system of your relationship: Manage Conflict, Build Friendship, and Create Shared Meaning. We will work to build a sound relationship house.
